HOW TO CLEAN A CARPET IN NO TIME
Carpet cleaning is troublesome, you might think. But no. Bringing freshness to the carpet is much easier than it might seem, and what is more important, it is quite inexpensive.
Take baking soda for example, which is cheap and absolutely safe. It can handle even tough dirt. So, dissolve half a glass of baking soda in 5 liters of water. Stir well until the powder is completely dissolved. Spray the mixture with a spray bottle onto the rug. And after forty minutes, thoroughly vacuum the carpet.
Salt can cope with this task no worse than soda. To do this, first, vacuum the carpet thoroughly. Then, spray water all over it. After that, sprinkle salt on the carpet and rub it in with a stiff brush. Remove leftover crystals with a broom or vacuum cleaner. Now, cheer yourself for the work you've done.
Laundry soap is one of the best assistants in cleaning a rug. To do this, you need to dissolve 1 tablespoon of soap in one liter of warm water. Apply the solution to the carpet using a stiff brush. Then clean it couple of times with a wet rag. After that, absorb the moist with a dry cloth, and ventilate the room until the flooring is completely dry.
Well, if the pile of the carpet is long, then a mixture with ammonia is more suitable for you. We only need 1 tablespoon of it. After diluting the odorous liquid in 5 liters of water, add 3 more tablespoons of washing powder. Then, with a foam sponge, apply the liquid to the pile. Dry the rug as much as possible with a dry cloth. Ventilate the room.
Well, if all you need is freshening the rug or getting rid of a bad smell, just sprinkle baby powder overnight and vacuum the carpet the next morning.
